What Plan Trim Suggestions does
Suggests which outcomes to remove first when the combination count grows beyond a useful size.
Example: remove one selection to cut 27 cards
To reduce the size of your plan, compare outcome-level trimming with the Smart Card Eliminator. Four matches with three selected outcomes each produce 81 combinations before scenarios or filters. Reducing one match from three outcomes to two leaves 54 combinations. That single input change removes 27 cards, all of which depended on the discarded selection.
How to use Plan Trim Suggestions
Open Permutify and find Plan Trim Suggestions in Optimization.
- Select multiple outcomes.
- Open Plan Trim Suggestions.
- Apply a suggestion when you want fewer combinations.
What to check before relying on the result
Trimming an outcome removes every combination that needs it. A smaller plan costs less only in relation to your allocation settings; a fixed total allocation may instead be redistributed. Check the coverage and updated allocations before keeping a suggestion.
How is outcome trimming different from deleting individual cards?
Outcome trimming changes the source selections and affects all combinations containing the removed pick. Card-level elimination can remove specific generated combinations while retaining the outcome in others.
When are trim suggestions useful?
Open the feature after selecting multiple outcomes, especially when the generated count becomes difficult to review. Inspect the suggested targets before applying a reduction.
