Calculate how your allocation is distributed across cards

The number of matching cards does not tell you whether a plan makes a profit. Allocation Options connects your allocation settings to the generated combinations, letting you inspect the amount allocated to each card and its potential return before you save the plan.

Allocation and estimated return values on every generated card.

What Allocation Options does

Controls allocation strategy and card-level values so return calculations stay consistent across the generated plan.

Example: a return is not the same as a profit

Consider a €100 total allocation spread across three mutually exclusive cards with decimal odds of 2, 3, and 6. Before rounding or minimum-allocation adjustments, allocations of €50, €33.33, and €16.67 approximately equalize the return at €100. A matching card would then recover the total allocation, rather than create a €100 profit. Use the actual card-level figures when comparing settings.

How to use Allocation Options

Open Permutify and find Allocation Options in Input.

  • Open Allocation Options.
  • Choose the allocation mode.
  • Adjust the allocation values before reviewing results.

What to check before relying on the result

Check the total amount allocated as well as each card's estimated return. Minimum allocations, rounding, bonuses, and the selected allocation mode can change the distribution. Kelly-style calculations also depend on estimated inputs; they do not establish that your predictions have an edge.

Is this just a single-prediction estimated return calculator?

No. Allocation Options applies allocation settings across the generated card set. It helps you review card-level allocations and potential returns together with the total cost of the plan.

Should I review allocations after removing cards?

Yes. Changing the retained card set can redistribute the allocation and change the remaining cards' potential returns. Review the updated amounts after optimization.
