Analysis · Scenario Comparison

Compare saved strategy versions using the same headline measures

Scenario Comparison puts saved plans beside one another so their tradeoffs are easier to inspect. Compare combination counts, average odds, allocations, and return ranges when choosing between a baseline and a revised setup.

Pro feature

Choosing between several saved strategies.

A direct comparison table for saved strategies.

What Scenario Comparison does

Compares saved strategies side by side by combination count, average odds, allocation, and return ranges.

Example: compare broad coverage with a trimmed version

Save an original plan, remove a group of outcomes or cards, and save the revised plan under another name. Select both in Scenario Comparison. Review the smaller card count alongside the allocation and return ranges, since a reduced set can change coverage and estimated return distribution at the same time.

How to use Scenario Comparison

Open Permutify and find Scenario Comparison in Analysis.

  • Save at least two plans.
  • Open Scenario Comparison in Analysis.
  • Select the plans you want to compare.

What to check before relying on the result

The table compares saved planning values. A higher average odd or estimated return does not establish better expected profit. Ensure the versions use comparable fixture and allocation assumptions, and review recorded history separately for realized performance.

How many plans do I need to start?

Save at least two plans, open Scenario Comparison in Analysis, and select the entries you want to compare.

Does this backtest a strategy against past matches?

No. It compares saved setup metrics. Use recorded results to analyze historical performance, and distinguish those results from potential returns in the comparison table.
