Optimization · Dot Pattern Filter

Review and remove cards by their visual outcome pattern

Dot Pattern Filter maps W/D/L selections into routes you can inspect visually. Use preset routes, route scanning, match-count limits, or custom patterns to express a structural removal rule and examine the cards it affects.

What Dot Pattern Filter does

Removes generated cards by visual W/D/L dot patterns, including presets, route scanning, match-count limits, and custom patterns.

Example: inspect an all-draw route before removing it

Create a custom pattern that follows the draw position across the relevant matches. Preview the cards matched by that route, then review the coverage and allocation implications before applying the removal. The pattern identifies a selection structure; it does not demonstrate that the result cannot happen.

How to use Dot Pattern Filter

Open Permutify and find Dot Pattern Filter in Optimization.

  • Open Dot Pattern Filter in Optimization.
  • Choose preset routes or build custom patterns.
  • Review the removed cards preview.

What to check before relying on the result

Visual regularity is not evidence that a card will lose. Pattern rules can depend on match order and the chosen route positions. Recheck the removed-card preview after rearranging the plan, and evaluate any strategy against recorded results separately.

Can I define my own dot patterns?

Yes. The feature supports custom patterns as well as preset routes, scanning, and match-count controls.

Does a repeated W/D/L pattern imply poor prediction value?

No. Shape alone does not establish probability or value. Review the selections, odds, and cost independently before using a pattern as a removal rule.
